It's a hands-on role that often involves working outdoors in various weather conditions and requires good physical fitness, practical skills, and a strong awareness of health and safety regulations. You could be operating machinery, using hand tools, or working as part of a team to complete specific stages of a project. Many roles within construction also require specific qualifications or certifications, such as a CSCS card, to demonstrate your competence and awareness of site safety.
