Unit Summary

The statutory requirements for The World Around Us require teachers to enable children to develop knowledge, understanding and skills which enable the child to explore who they are. In this unit children are given opportunities to use their senses in order to develop their powers of observation, their ability to sort and classify, explore, predict, experiment, compare, plan, carry out and review their work.
