double-blind
A term used when neither the participants or the researchers know which participants belong to the control group, and which to the test group.
bias
A favouring of some ideas or people over others.
simulation
A way of seeing a thing happen without it actually taking place in the same way.
clinical trial
A research study that follows a predefined protocol, or plan of action.
lymphocytes
Form of white blood cell which contains a single round nucleus that occurs typically in the lymphatic system.
