The Science Behind the Science
Plants tend to reproduce in one of two ways - either by insect pollination or wind dispersal.
Plants which attract insects are often brightly coloured and also have a strong scent. This attracts the insects sensory instincts to pollinate and reproduce the plant.
Much like human reproduction, flowers reproduce sexually through male and female parts of the flower. This can be done between different flowers but also asexually by just one flower. Flowers can not interbreed with one another due to their chemical make-up.
