Section 1: Warm-Up Game – “What Stuck With You?”

To wrap things up on a high note, try a quick-fire quiz—true or false style—with teams competing for points. This fast-paced game not only sparks friendly competition but also helps everyone recall what they’ve learned in a fun, engaging way. It’s a great confidence booster before the assessment, reminding learners that they’ve got the knowledge and are ready to show it.

Section 2: Final Assessment

Provide learners with a test that combines multiple-choice questions, short answers, and realistic scenario-based challenges. This mix allows them to showcase their understanding from different angles. Gently remind them that the goal isn’t perfection but to demonstrate what they’ve learned so far. Let them know that support is available throughout the process, including help with reading or writing if needed—so they’re never alone as they work through the test.

Section 3: Reflection – “Where I Started vs. Where I Am Now”

Invite learners to take a moment to reflect by writing or drawing their thoughts on three simple prompts: What I thought about work before, What I understand now, and One thing I’ll take with me into my next job or placement. This reflection helps connect their experiences and learning. If they feel comfortable, invite volunteers to share their insights with the group, but emphasize that sharing is always optional.

Section 4: Certificates

At the end, hand out short, simple feedback forms to gather learners’ thoughts. Then, present certificates with genuine recognition: “You showed up, worked hard, and grew. Well done!” Take a moment to reinforce the next steps by encouraging learners to apply what they’ve learned in real placements, interviews, or future jobs. Remind them this is just the beginning of their journey, and their efforts will continue to pay off.
