Implementation

Instructor Guidance:

Section 1: Course Recap Game – “What Stuck With You?”
Use a game-style recap such as:

  • True or False
  • Quick-fire questions
  • Team quiz
Keep it light and positive. This helps learners warm up and build confidence before the test.

Section 2: Final Test (Knowledge Assessment)
Provide a 15–20 question written test (mix of multiple choice, short answer, and scenario-based questions).
Clearly explain it’s not pass/fail, but an opportunity to show what they’ve learned.
Offer support with reading or writing where needed.

Section 3: Review of Test
You can mark tests as a group, offering correct answers and encouraging discussion.
Address any common errors as learning opportunities.
Acknowledge effort and improvement, even if scores are low.

Section 4: Reflection Activity – “Where I Started vs. Where I Am Now”
Prompt learners to write or draw:

  • What they thought about money at the start
  • What they understand now
  • One change they’ve already made or want to make
Invite volunteers to share their reflections.

Section 5: Evaluation & Certificates
Distribute course feedback forms to gather learner opinions on the experience.
Present certificates with recognition of commitment and progress.
Offer words of encouragement for continuing financial learning and planning.

Impact & Assessment Opportunities

Plenary

  • Hand out certificates individually—consider calling out each learner’s name and offering a few words of encouragement or praise if appropriate.
  • Maintain a warm, positive tone to celebrate learners' progress and commitment.
  • Reinforce that this is just the beginning—encourage them to keep using what they’ve learned and building their financial confidence.
  • Allow a moment for applause or group recognition if the setting feels comfortable.
  • Optionally take a group photo (with consent) to mark the achievement.
