The Science Behind the Science
Hair covers pretty much every single part of the body. You find hair on the head, the arms, the legs, the armpits, and even on the face. Hair is important because it helps to maintain the appropriate body temperature. Regulating body temperature is important, especially in different seasons when the environment changes too. The hair also protects skin from the Sun. Different people have different hair colours. This depends on their parents' hair and their genes.
Eyes are important too. We need them to see everything around us. The eyes are pretty special organs. They give depth perception, which makes sure that people do not bump into things. On the eyes there are eyelids and eyelashes. These are important because they prevent things like dust and dirt from entering the eye and causing infections.
Ears are needed because without them we wouldn’t be able to hear. We need two ears so that we can clearly hear sounds from both directions. Ears are important in helping us keep balanced too.
