temperature
a measure of the average kinetic energy of the particles in a substance; it indicates how hot or cold an object is and is typically measured in degrees Celsius
pressure
the force exerted per unit area on the surface of an object
collision
an event where two or more particles (such as atoms or molecules) come into contact and exert forces on each other, often resulting in a change in their motion or direction
Brownian Motion
the random movement of particles in a fluid (liquid or gas) due to their collisions with smaller, fast-moving molecules of the fluid
volume
the amount of space that a substance or object occupies
