Method:

Children to look at the images on the slide. Can they explain and describe how tech can be used for fun?

Method:

Explore the lesson presentation. Within this section, there are a range of slides which challenge the children to think carefully about the development of tech for fun, and asks the children questions.

Children fill out their CareersWeCan profile to explain how Emily has got to her position.

Method:

Create a presentation which explains Augmented Reality, what it is and what it could be used for. 

Children to work in groups and create a presentation, using AR style, to explain about it. Children to storyboard this and then use software to make an animation, presentation or short film.

Why are computers games fun and addictive?
Can you write a class definition of AR and VR?
How do you think AR and VR technology could be helped to solve a problem?

Ask children to look at the apps Quiver and Figment. Ask them if they think the technology could be improved further, and what they think the next steps might be.
