A Learning & Development Specialist is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes within organisations. The aim is to help employees improve their skills, knowledge, and performance, which supports both personal growth and business goals. Typical tasks include identifying training needs, creating learning materials, organising workshops and courses, and assessing the effectiveness of training initiatives. This role often requires strong communication skills, creativity, and a good understanding of how adults learn best. Learning & Development Specialists may work in-house for a single organisation or as consultants for a range of clients.
