Producer (Theatre/Music)

Producers in theatre or music are responsible for overseeing the creation and delivery of live performances, such as plays, musicals, concerts, or festivals. Their job involves managing budgets, securing funding, hiring creative teams (like directors and performers), arranging venues, and ensuring that all aspects of a production run smoothly. Producers are often the key decision makers, balancing artistic vision with commercial realities. They work closely with a variety of professionals and may be involved from the earliest planning stages right through to opening night and beyond.
