Imagine a friendly face you see when you go to the doctors, but for animals! A Veterinary Receptionist is the first person you meet when you visit an animal hospital or clinic with your pet. They are super important because they help everything run smoothly. They answer the phone to book appointments for animals, greet people and their pets when they arrive, and make sure everyone feels welcome and calm. They also help with important paperwork and make sure the vets and nurses know which animals are next and what they need. It's a job where you get to talk to lots of different people and see many different types of animals every day! They also help keep the waiting room tidy and make sure there are biscuits for the humans and perhaps a water bowl for the furry visitors. They are like the heart of the vet practice, making sure everyone is looked after.
