Teaching assistants, or TAs, work alongside teachers in schools to help support pupils with their learning, both in groups and on a one-to-one basis. They help prepare classroom materials, support children who need extra help, and sometimes work with pupils who have special educational needs or disabilities. TAs play a crucial role in helping pupils progress, manage their behaviour, and feel confident in their learning environment. The job can be very rewarding, especially for those who enjoy helping children achieve their best.
