The team were all very excited to go inside the tomb. The door was still sealed from when the pharaoh was buried, so they knew they would be the first ones inside. However, they also knew that the pharaohs often had traps and tricks placed in the tombs to catch grave robbers!

The doorway had hieroglyphs scribed on it, which the Ancient Egyptians wrote as protective spells. One inscription said, "Death will come on swift wings to him who disturbs the king."
